DENNIS GOLF UPDATES:

So hopefully you have been getting to play a couple more rounds than usual on the Dennis Golf course thanks to this beautiful summer weather. If so than maybe you noticed that your irons are looking a little outdated. Here is a list to help you shop around for the perfect new set of irons to put in your bag.

Callaway Golf: Apex 16 CF

The Apex 16 CF are Callaway’s first forged player’s iron with a cup face construction. This provides a more consistent ball speed across the face. The longer irons of the set provide greater forgiveness and the shorter ones give players more control.

Cobra Golf: King Forged TEC

Created with thCobraPro-768x768e best golfers in mind these irons provide pure and accurate shots thanks to the Center of Gravity placement.  Cavity Back design in the mid & long irons provide great forgiveness, and a muscle back design in the short irons enables great precision, workability and accuracy for attacking the pin.

Mizuno Golf:  JPX-EZ Forged

The 1025 Boron material and the amplified Power Frame design made these irons 30% stronger increasing distance and giving it a softer touch and feel. The Power Frame technology evenly distributes weight into the four corners of the iron to give players maximum forgiveness. The softly beveled leading edge and hard cut trailing edge of the Triple Cut Sole feature mean ultimate playability.

Tour Edge Golf: Exotics EXd

The Exotics EXd irons feature a free-standing face with a deep undercut cavity. This design ensures ball distance and forgiveness for those off-center hits. The iron is kept stable thanks to the two tungsten sole weights in the heel and toe. This iron offers the best that Tour Edge Golf has.

Wilson Staff: C200s

These irons from Wilson Staff were designed with the cross-over player in mind, the mid to higher handicapper desiring a more playable clubhead than the usual game-improvement irons but who also wants WilsonC200-768x576to gain some distance.  It features FLX Face technology which minimizes contact points between the thin face and club head, meaning so players with lower swing speeds even see improved distance. Nine power holes surround the head providing ultimate flex on points of impact.
